GlobalMathExchange
The Global Math Exchange Program provides our PhD students with the opportunity to spend a time period between 4 weeks and 4 months at a math department or research institute abroad. Acquiring international research experience and developing their own international collaborations are very valuable for early career researchers in mathematics. PhD students are encouraged to select a host and an institution that is the best environment for their own research and study. BIGS provides funding in the form of travel and living expenses as well as individual support in arranging the research stay.
